Wheatbelt Steel is a division of the Ahrens family of brands and has been operating for the past 40 years; specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of quality steel sheds. Wheatbelt Steel builds sheds of the highest quality, including machinery sheds, fertiliser sheds, grain sheds, hay sheds, shearing sheds and poultry sheds for farms across Western Australia, with further growth taking sheds to the rest of Australia.

**About the Role**

Wheatbelt Steel are on the lookout for a Project Administrator to be responsible for managing administrative tasks and providing support within the organization. The Project Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, maintaining client relationships, and facilitating smooth project operations within Wheatbelt Steel by supporting the Project delivery team and administration function.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a central point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, variances, and queries promptly.
- Maintain positive relationships with legislative bodies, approval authorities, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and team members to ensure timely achievement of design goals.
- Assist the General Manager with monthly reporting, project scheduling, and managing forward orders.
- Provide recommendations for resolving complex issues and decisions.
- Report project progress at internal meetings, seeking input from the Project Management team.
- Promptly report any substandard workmanship to the General Manager for appropriate action.
- Schedule and manage repair and warranty projects, including quoting, procurement, and coordination.
- Undertake assigned tasks and duties within your skill and ability as directed.
- Support the General Manager with general project, administrative tasks, and actively promote the company's products through client contact.

**Skills and Experience**
- Exposure to and understanding of the construction industry.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building client and subcontractor relationships.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Ability to write detailed scopes of work.
- Sound knowledge of cost forecasting and reporting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and deliver timely client responses.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to lead others.
- Attention to detail and a proactive "can do" attitude.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, with a capacity to listen, learn, and provide direction.
- Ability to interpret detailed plans and specifications.
- Self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
- Professional communication skills, attitude, and presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant computer skills.
