**About the role**

This is a permanent part-time (3 days per week) Regulatory Reporting role focusing on Great Southern Bank’s general insurance regulatory returns. Reporting into the Capital and Risk Manager, you perform an integral role within the Regulatory Capital and Risk team, who are responsible for delivering quality reporting to APRA and other regulatory bodies (ABS and RBA).

Your key deliverables and accountabilities are:

- The timely preparation and submission of quarterly and annual general insurance regulatory returns to APRA for CrediCorp Insurance Pty Ltd
- In conjunction with the Finance team, consult with the Actuarial Advice Service provider on capital and regulatory reporting matters and respond to data queries from APRA, ABS, and other regulatory authorities
- Compliance with relevant APRA Prudential standards and other regulatory requirements through completion of self-assessments
- Review and analysis of material movements in the financial/regulatory data
- Contributions to Board and Management Reporting and assisting with identifying and addressing any issues with reporting
- Reviewing and updating CrediCorp Insurance Pty Ltd policies and key documents
- Acting as a trusted advisor across Great Southern Bank, facilitating a shared understanding of our regulatory responsibilities

**About you**

Given the expectation to contribute to Board papers and reporting, we are seeking:

- More than 2 years of experience in a similar role (financial or regulatory reporting) within banking or general insurance
- Experience in interpreting APRA’s prudential and reporting standards
- Well-developed, professional communication style and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work, reliable results, meet tight deadlines, and plan and prioritise workflow
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large volumes of data and excellent spreadsheet skills
