**About the role**:
To ensure the provision of a high-quality innovative educational program that meets the needs of children aged from birth to 6 years. To ensure the care and education program aligns with the Early Childhood Services Philosophy, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework as well as the National Quality Standards.
**Key Selection Criteria:
- Certificate III Early Childhood Education or similar
- Level 2 First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate, with CPR updates completed within the last 12 months (mandatory)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and the Victorian Early Years Learning andDevelopment Framework.
- Awareness of the cultural needs of families.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to maintain written records and write reports relating to program goals and child development
- Knowledge and understanding of mandatory Reporting requirements
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to Banyule City Councils values
