About the role/You

The Lead Coordinator will support the delivery of DFFH Graduate Resource Centre and other projects to grow the evidence base on the challenges facing the social service workforce. The Lead Coordinator will contribute to the design and delivery of initiatives to grow and develop the workforce and projects to measure the outcomes and impact of new approaches to workforce development.

The Lead Coordinator will be responsible for a range of project activities including line management of a team of Coordinators, designing project methodologies, developing project plans, designing and supporting external stakeholder engagement activities and report writing for a complex project with many components.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- Must have - Previous experience in managing teams in the community or social service sector.- Demonstrated understanding of the policy landscape for the social service and education sectors and ability to develop policy recommendations based on data, research, and evidence.- Experience providing expert advice and recommendations to ensure that project objectives are met and that project outputs are produced to a high standard.- In-depth knowledge of the social service sector and having worked in a management role.- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills including demonstrated ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
