NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Lead Clinical Research Coordinator / Site Manager to lead clinical research operations at a dedicated clinical trials unit in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical trials while driving recruitment targets and optimising site performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage clinical site staff to ensure high-quality trial delivery in compliance with GCP and regulatory standards
  • Oversee site resources, recruitment targets, facilities, and equipment management
  • Act as primary contact for sponsors and suppliers at site level
  • Ensure staff training, performance management, and professional development
  • Collaborate with investigators and recruitment teams to achieve study goals
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement in workflows
  • Maintain strong relationships with service providers and healthcare facilities

Requirements

  • Nursing or health-related qualification (diploma or bachelor's degree)
  • GCP training and understanding of local regulatory requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in interventional clinical trials
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and CRO industries
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Competent with MS Office; experience with Office 365 is an advantage
  • Certificate in Project Management
