**Client Overview**:
Join a world-renowned fund manager with a reputation for excellence. Our client is seeking a Government Relations Manager with 4-5 years of experience in government relations/policy to join their team in Australia.

**Role Overview**:
As the Government Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing advocacy efforts with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies. You will be a vital member of a high-performing team that drives important public policy positions.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Experience in financial services policy and regulation (preferred)
- Connections with regulators, government bodies, or industry groups (desirable)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support advocacy efforts on legislative and regulatory priorities
- Write submissions and responses to government consultations
- Prepare reports, issue backgrounders, talking points, position papers, and other materials
- Engage with appropriate coalitions, trade associations, external stakeholders, consultants, and others.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related business experience.
