About the role
The Royal Humane Society of Australasia (RHSA), Australia’s first charity dedicated to recognising acts of bravery, is seeking a passionate and skilled **Honorary Treasurer** to join our volunteer Board.
In this rewarding role, you’ll oversee financial management, including one staff member budgeting, reporting, compliance, and investment oversight, while contributing to the Society’s mission of celebrating extraordinary bravery. The role requires around 4-6 hours per month, plus attendance at Board and subcommittee meetings (if required).
We’re looking for someone with financial or accounting expertise, ideally with experience in not-for-profit organisations, who can clearly communicate financial matters and uphold the highest ethical standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a respected national charity with Royal patronage.
