**Welcome to Punthill Sunshine**

**We are looking an enthusiastic part time maintenance person (3 days a week) to drive excellence in upkeep of the property, working closely with the Hotel Manager on priorities.**
- Brand new hotel (opened in September 2024) with 90 apartments ranging from Studios to Three Bedroom Apartments
- Hotel facilities include gym & lobby pantry/bar/cafe
- Free team car parking and located 450m from the Sunshine Train station

**Responsibilities**

This is an exciting maintenance role, perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and an impeccable sense of pride in their work. Working closely with the Hotel Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you’ll expertly:

- Undertake a variety of general hotel maintenance work in common areas and hotel rooms
- Complete repairs to apartments, equipment, and common area hardware
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment such as TVs and air conditioners
- Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain maintenance inventory
- Manage on-site contractors, contractor compliance and inductions, upkeep of service agreements, and building audits for compliance
- Work independently with an ownership mindset but also with a team focus
- Manage and assist in new building defects

You'll be provided with all the tools and supplies required to be set up for success, and work closely with the hotel team to ensure that the property's condition and upkeep is improved or sustained.

The successful person must have:

- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- Knowledge of general maintenance tasks
- The ultimate 'can do' attitude
- Available 3 days per week - preferred Mon, Wed and Fri availability
- A willingness to learn new things and be creative in finding solutions around operational demands
- High sense of pride in their work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to leave good impressions after interactions with team members and guests
