Stamford Plaza Melbourne is a five star luxury hotel located at the 'Paris end' of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping & theatre district and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Handyperson to join our growing team.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Responsible for completing maintenance, repairs and painting tasks as directed by Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
Working within a supportive team to complete tasks to standard.
Ensure at all times, jobs are completed with minimum disturbance to guests & patrons of the hotel.
Efficiently completing tasks within agreed timeframes
Any other duties as requested by the Assistant Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
Completing other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
Completing all tasks within health and safety guidelines for staff and guests
Trade qualification preferred but not essential
Ability to manage conflicting priorities with a flexible & adaptable approach
Excellent problem-solving skills
An eye for detail and takes care and pride in their work
Good customer service skills
Shares a passion for the hotel and hospitality industry
