**Description**:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Mobile Maintenance leading hand for our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:
Assist the workshop supervisor in leading the maintenance team on a daily basis to conduct safe, effective maintenance within planned time frames
Lead all workshop personal during their day-to-day tasks and ensuring everyone works safely and efficiently
Ensure effective and quality repairs to the fleet which consists of predominantly Cat equipment i.e. 6020B, 3600-7 Excavators 992K & 988K Loaders, Cat 16M Graders, Cat D10T, D10T2 & 854K Dozers, Cat, 777F/G Dump Trucks & 777F Water Carts
Control daily performance output as well meet safety and environmental KPI’s consistently
Manage and process maintenance documents such as work orders, parts requests and planning documents
Liaise with the production mining team daily to coordinate tasks.
**Skills and experience required to be successful in this role**:
Trade qualified mobile plant fitter - Heavy
Supervisory experience in the maintenance field of an operational mine
Experience with field service repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics
Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/ pneumatic
Product knowledge of Komatsu & Cat equipment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to communicate clearly with staff on all levels
High level of computer literacy, particularly CAT SIS, ET systems and MS office suite
Current C drivers’ licence
National Police Clearance
Preferred Section 26 Statutory attainment
