We are a growth-oriented company and after many years of success in the Australian market, we are currently expanding into the USA, where we are establishing a customer service and manufacturing facility to offer the same amazing products and service to a new, exciting and much larger market.

To continue our growth, an exciting opportunity is now available for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to join our business based out of our office in Smeaton Grange, Sydney.

**Core responsibilities and opportunities**:
Working closely with our Executive Team, your scope of responsibility will be across all aspects of the employee life cycle and will expand in line with the anticipated growth of the company, including:

- Processing of weekly payroll
- Full onboarding and offboarding employees in a timely manner
- Investigating the full employee life cycle at a strategic and operational level
- Upkeep, development and implementation of best practices and company policy and procedures documents
- Assistance with understanding industry guidelines and standards and setting salary / hourly rate expectations for new roles and annually reviewing current rates to ensure compliance
- Coordination of HR cyclical events such as employee reviews and training
- Management of employee documents including job descriptions and review documents
- Maintaining the Employee Handbook to ensure up to date information
- Conducting culture ‘health checks’ to understand employee sentiment and assist in building greater connectedness to operational goals
- Provide assistance in the organisation of company events as required
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- 3 + years experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of the relevant employment legislation
- Sound judgement and high level ability to interpret and analyse HR policies
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- High organisational skills, with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach and embracing continuous improvement
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in payroll process (understanding of payroll in relation to shiftworkers will be highly regarded)
- Experience in the graphics and printing industry will be highly regarded
