About the role
We are seeking a Xero superstar for a part-time Bookkeeper role at Beaumont Tiles located in Smeaton Grange. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, as well as providing valuable insights to support the organisation's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage accounts Receivable and Payable, importing sales transactions from Microsoft Dynamic, end of months sales reconciliation, monthly suppliers' reconciliation, payment processing, and follow-ups
Processing weekly wages, quarterly superannuation lodgement, and payroll tax
Bank reconciliation
Prepare quarterly BAS
Income, expenses tracking
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate, up-to-date records between entities
Stock tracking and adjustment What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar accounts/bookkeeping role, preferably in a small to medium-sized organisation
- Strong experience in Payroll
- Must be proficient in using Xero accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in accounts Receivable and Payable
- Proficient in MS Office (eg. Google Sheets)
- Flexible part-time - approx. 32 hrs, 4-5 days per week
