Choice Consultancy is experiencing a period of growth and as a result, we are currently looking for passionate and reliable Disability Support workers who can commit regular hours to support people in their own homes.

**This Position**

We are looking for someone who can support an elderly man with his exercise program both in a gym and in his pool. Our client can walk but will need assistance to help with balance navigating any stairs.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in fitness and or nursing who can assist our client follow his exercise program.

We need someone who is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm each week and has a car.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be **friendly and patient. ** You will have excellent communication skills and strive to have a positive impact on the well-being of our clients. Ideally, you will have experience of working with disabled people in the past but not compulsory.

You must also bring;
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to work autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in individual or disability support (ideal but not compulsory)
- Access to a fully maintained vehicle, and a valid driver’s license
- Be fully vaccinated as working with vulnerable people
- Current police check

**How to Apply**

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police Check and is fully vaccinated.

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour
