New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce:

- High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d
- Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse
- A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine.
- A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water.
- This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere.

**About the role**

An opportunity for an experienced **Environment Coordinator** who is looking to take the next step in their career. This position will be based on-site in Kemps Creek, NSW. Reporting into the Environment Manager, you’ll be accountable for supporting the Environment Manager with project start-up, translating conditions, ensuring work readiness and facilitating low impact early works.

**Responsibilities of the role includes**:

- Provide environmental guidance, diligence and consistency to internal stakeholders
- Provide advice and input into the identification and effective management of environmental risks.
- Identify and initiate localised environment improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements.

**To be successful in this key role**:

- Bachelor Degrees in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
- Experience in construction environment management (2+ years)
- Knowledge of environmental management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures and processes
