Seeking a full-time permanent Recoveries Consultant to join our clients' growing business

**Your new company**

Hays Gippsland is partnering with a large well-known organisation seeking a Recoveries Consultant to commence immediately. Required to work full time hours, Monday to Friday, located in the beautiful area of Latrobe Valley with a hybrid working model available.

The role of Recoveries Consultant will be responsible for managing and acting facilities that are in default, coordinating legal enforcement activities.

**You will be responsible for the following**:

- Action daily loans delinquency, continuing credit facilities and overdrawn savings accounts queues as allocated
- Ensure all delinquent accounts, both loans and savings have received appropriate notices and Default Notice
- Represent organisation in court when requested to produce documents for legal related matters
- Instruct and co-ordinate other Legal Action including but not limited to statement of claims, attachment of earnings, warrant of apprehension
- Financially counsel customers in order to establish reasons for non-payment, and develop personalised programs to assist customers to eliminate long term delinquency and debt servicing difficulties Other Ad-hoc duties as required

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Knowledge of Debt Collection Guidelines
- Basic knowledge in the legal process for enforcement action
- Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code/Credit Act and Privacy Act
- Good ability to assess a financial statement including use of discovery questioning
- Excellent communication skills in liaising both internally and externally
- Excellent ability to demonstrate empathy to customers’ financial situations

**What you’ll get in return**
