We are looking to grow our team of support workers to ensure that we can provide excellent delivery of supports and maintain assistance for our clients. Lifeful have day & night shifts available for a skilled Support Worker, for our client in Melton. He is an intelligent, likeable man with severe cerebral palsy, vision impaired and doesn't speak. He is currently recovering from illness and requires modified foods and extra medical care - including management of chronic back pain and asthma.

Regular long shifts - immediate start.

Our client lives with his sister who will provide full training for you. Nursing and/or medical training will be highly regarded with hourly rate negotiable.

We’re looking for experienced support workers with an excellent work ethic. Being able to work sleep-over shifts will be particularly valued. So, if you can fully commit, and want longterm and regular shifts, this is the job for you

Duties include:

- All personal tasks: Feeding, changing pads, showering, dressing, toileting etc
- Administration of medications
- Full hoist transfers
- Encouraging personal skills through hobbies and games
- Food preparation and laundry tasks.

**Required Skills**:

- Respectful, communicative, energetic, and positive - a person who likes people
- Medication training - highly desirable
- Competent manual handling skills, including changing pads and hoist transfers.
- Experience with clients who are non-verbal, have epilepsy and/or modified diets
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check & current First Aid Certificate
- Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards online worker training module.
- Current vehicle insurance
- A current and valid drivers' licence.
