Melton, Australia Allcare Community Support Full time $4,300 - $6,000 per year

Allcare Community Support Victoria specialises in supporting children, young people and young adults who have been diagnosed with a disability, who are NDIS eligible, and who are in need of support. There are two client streams, 7 years to 25 years old and 25 plus.

We're looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join our AllCare team. We provide high-quality, person-centred support to people living with disability through the NDIS, with a focus on neurodivergence (autism spectrum disorder, ADHD) and individuals with psychosocial disability.

The areas which are a current focus are Melton and Preston , but opportunities in other suburbs may arise.

We are looking for people who:

· Have experience in supporting people with autism, ADHD, psychosocial disability, or other neurodiverse needs.

  • Are patient, empathetic, and committed to empowering others.
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and a driver's licence.

  • Provide day-to-day assistance, including personal care, community access, and skill-building.
  • Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and live independently.

Evidence of 1 – 3 years previous experience as a support worker and/or in youth/community work. Necessary clearances/documents relating to the role will be required.

Excellent verbal and written skills are required not only for ensuring clear communication with clients but also maintaining accurate case notes and records in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Time Commitment would depend on client requirements but availability on certain week days and a weekend day would be desirable.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $43.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2.00 per week
