**The Opportunity**:
We have a 6 month fixed term contract, exciting entry level position for someone who is wanting to kick start their career in the world of HR. The People and Culture Support officer will report into the shared services manager and will be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations working across the various functions of the People and Culture team here at Newcastle Anglican.

**What we’re Looking for?***
- Provide support to the People & Culture team on HR-related matters, including employment contracts, using the P&C systems to pull people data and support Business Partners to analyse, support to provide relevant data for audit purposes for all sites and services across Newcastle Anglican.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases.
- Respond to employee queries and provide general HR support.
- All general HR Administration tasks
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to build effective working relationships, internally and externally.
- Work co-operatively and seek relevant advice/information from appropriate people and sources.
- Able to work effectively and flexibly within a team environment.
- Support to Payroll team may be required from time to time.

**About you?**
- A passion for all things HR & Admin
- Certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant qualification (preferred).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Check or willingness to
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
- Current drivers’ licence

The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle (Newcastle Anglican) is the overarching body for some well-known Hunter and Central Coast organisations - Anglican Care, Samaritans, Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation and Anglican parishes working primarily in the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.
