Our client is in the manufacturing industry.

**About the role**
The 3-month contract role has potential for extension or permanency. The main reason it is a contract role is to get someone in asap to help the team. It is based in Hawthorn at their office full-time (no working from home). The AR role reports into the Financial Controller and is mainly responsible for financial, administrative and clerical responsibilities. They are looking for someone who has a customer service mindset with fantastic communications skills as you will be supporting many internal stakeholders across the business including production, finance, admin and the business' customers. Responsibilities include:

- Create, receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
- Receive and process payments in a timely manner
- Dealing with customer complaints and issuing credit notes
- Respond to customer queries regarding proof of delivery and pricing
- Negotiate with customers to achieve payments/arrangements
- Provide high level customer service
- Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments
- Managing and maintaining your own ledger of business-to-business accounts to reduce debt in arrears
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends

**About you**
- You have accounts receivable and/or credit control/collections experience
- Manufacturing industry experience is not essential, but desirable
- You are immediately available and could start week commencing 31st July
- You are happy to commute to Hawthorn
