**About the role**

The Side-by-Side Program aims to support early primary school students (Years 1 to 4), particularly low attenders, closing gaps in attendance and learning. Prioritizing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, the program is facilitated by a dedicated case worker collaborating with Berry Street's team. This case worker engages with partner agencies to deliver education support and family assistance, focusing on strengthening school connections, and parenting skills, and advocating for service accessibility. Operating with a trauma-aware and culturally sensitive approach, the case worker oversees case management and goal implementation for families.

**About You**
- A tertiary qualification in Education, Social Work, Welfare, or other related disciplines and experience working with Schools and the Education sector will be highly desirable.
- You must have and continue to hold a full Victorian Driver’s Licence and current employment.
- Working with children's check cards.
