**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Possess tertiary accounting qualifications**:

- **Accumulate 1 to 3 years' experience in public practice**:

- **Be a member of a Professional Accounting Body**:

- **Showcase adeptness in preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns**:

- **Demonstrate a profound grasp of taxation legislation**:

- **Exhibit proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook**:

- **While familiarity with programs such as MYOB AE, AE Tax, Xero, BGL, or CAS is advantageous, it is not mandatory.**

**The Role: Accountant**
- **As a pivotal part of their team, you will undertake the following responsibilities**:

- **Engage in client interactions and address queries**:

- **Facilitate seamless communication between clients and the firm**:

- **Create Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)**:

- **Prepare comprehensive Financial Statements, including Depreciation Schedules**:

- **Compile precise Income Tax Returns, CGT calculations, and FBT calculations**:

- **Interact with the ATO on behalf of clients**:

- **Contribute to the establishment and registration of business entities**:

- **Ensure accurate data input in computer systems**:

- **Extend expert accounting and taxation advice to clients**:

- **Stay updated on the ever-evolving taxation and legislative landscape**:

- **Collaborate seamlessly with the Financial Planning team through referrals**:

- **Maintain meticulous and organised files**:

- **Develop cash flow budgets and profit plans for clients**:

- **Embrace additional tasks in line with firm requirements**

**Salary**: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
