Our WA Government client is seeking to engage a Risk and Business Continuity Officer on a Temporary basis, Full Time Position

**Key Responsibilities**
- Refreshing the City's operational risks by working collaboratively with all levels of staff and management.
- In collaboration with the Risk & Business Continuity Officer, completing the quarterly risk updates for the whole organisation.
- Working with the Risk & Business Continuity Officer to regularly review and update the Risk Management Framework and it's supporting documentation.
- Working closely with the different business units to assist with developing and managing risks on projects.
- Working closely with the Internal Audit Coordinator to determine and update the risk profile of the City.
- Updating and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of information in the City's risk software system.
- Preparing risk reports for the Executive Leadership Team and Audit and Risk Committee.
- Improving risk awareness and understanding within the City.

**Key Capabilities**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing deadlines and workloads and provide a high level of service.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake analysis on large amounts of data and translate into easy to understand information.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a range of communication including reports, procedures, policies and presentations.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of current Risk Management principles and practices.
- Understanding of business continuity principles and practices.
