Your Opportunity

As People Partner you will be a trusted advisor, collaborating across the organisation to deliver people-first solutions and play a critical role in aligning human resources strategy with operational objectives. This position requires a proactive and commercially astute professional who can champion initiatives and deliver impactful projects which support the overarching EBM Strategy.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Building strong, consultative relationships with leaders to understand their strategic and operational goals, delivering practical, tailored, solutions focused HR support across a broad and diverse business portfolio.
  • Taking the lead on resolving complex HR issues and employee relations and WHS matters, with a strong focus on legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Interpreting and providing guidance on HR policy and relevant employment legislation.
  • Leading and supporting cyclical people initiatives such as performance reviews, talent calibration and remuneration reviews.
  • Providing coaching and practical advice on matters such as performance management, leadership development, employee relations and engagement.
  • Developing and delivering innovative HR solutions, policies and initiatives that support organisational priorities.
  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery of key HR projects, including change management programs.
  • Contributing to transformation initiatives, fostering a high-performance, inclusive and engaged workplace culture.
  • Overseeing immigration and visa management.
  • Leveraging HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, driving continuous improvement, and proactively identifying opportunities for organisational development.

Your Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Extensive experience in a senior HR generalist or business partner role within a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver strategic HR guidance across diverse issues and recurring business cycles.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders, with proven skills in influencing and coaching leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering high-impact and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, industrial agreements, and modern HR best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of Australian employment relations and industrial relations legislation.
  • Capable of supporting the successful rollout of change programs, including workforce integration, structural transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Proven proficiency with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, with the ability to optimise system use to enhance HR processes.
  • Skilled in leveraging HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and measure impact.
  • Hold postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Commerce, or a related discipline.
