Role title: Proposition Manager - Energy

About the Role

Lead the strategy, design, and management of AGL's consumer product portfolio, covering Residential and Small Business customers, including electricity and gas products. Develop and launch customer propositions, collaborating across departments. Drive Customer Value Proposition alignment, differentiation, and growth. Manage portfolio lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery of products, offers, and customer experience. Contribute to simplifying and enhancing propositions for improved customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and innovative customer propositions for energy and bundled products in Residential & SME sectors, prioritizing market leadership.- Employ design methodologies like human-centred design & customer journey mapping for proposition innovation.- Launch new customer propositions, managing their lifecycle, performance, and customer experience.- Handle P&L management, business case development, and revenue growth for the products.- Manage large and small-scale projects, adapting to regulatory changes, and fostering new ideas.- Collaborate closely with peers, demonstrate leadership, and ensure profitability aligns with AGL's objectives.- Coordinate with Operations and peers in Customer Channels and Marketing for optimal margin and growth.- Represent Customer Markets across AGL, offering expertise to enhance customer experience, sales, and business opportunities.

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Tenured relevant experience, including proposition roles, with a focus on energy &/or other relatable services industry- Proven expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management.- Demonstrated ability to balance commercial goals with top-notch customer outcomes.- Strong P&L management, business case development, and implementation skills.- Skilled in drawing insights and providing well-founded recommendations.- Effective engagement with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams at AGL.- Proficiency in navigating complex legal, and regulatory landscapes for competitive proposition design.- Experience in Agile methodologies, Customer Journey design, and excellent communication skills.- Tertiary qualifications are required.
