Our **Connected Technology Group (CTG) **defines and drives the digital, data and technology strategy for KPMG. This role is part of the Security Analyst Team in investigating and solving security incidents related to KPMG. This will primarily be done through working closely with the Security Operations Team in the identifying of possible security threats and mitigating these threats. This position requires a high degree of forensic skill, investigative processes as well as the ability to communicate to individuals in a professional manner who both do and do not have a security background and being able to adjust communication accordingly.

**This is a 6-month contract role.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responding to major security events and incidents and resolving these events accordingly
- Responding to incident tickets through our dedicated service now platform
- Analysing KPMG user behaviour as well as launching investigations when necessary
- Handling forensic data whilst also ensuring integrity and confidentiality
- Assisting in the identifying and handling of vulnerabilities through threat hunting
- Assisting both onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Maintaining and upholding security logs and information
- AV/ Local firewall review and administration
- The review and approval of privileged account requests raised by KPMG employees
- The review and conferment of remote activity
- Whitelisting and blacklisting URL based of extensive research and analysis

**Qualifications**:
**Mandatory**

Bachelors in IT or Computer Science or Cyber Security or equivalent certifications and/or experience

**Preferred**

Previous experience working within a Security Operations Centre in a Security Analyst role
