Reporting through the Head of Investigations, the Investigations Analyst is responsible for enquiring into various matters, both criminal and civil, as they occur within the company or as deemed necessary by management. The Investigations Analyst will assist the Investigations Team of Investigations with multiple tasks such as identifying crime, conducting reviews and investigations as well as assisting with staff probity and licensing.

This role is an integral part of the Security and Investigations Unit and requires sound judgement, a very high level of confidentiality, maturity, and professionalism.

**Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Identify reported incidents that require follow-up involvement of the SIU and further investigation.
- The Head of Investigations will allocate criminal and/or civil matters to the Investigations Analyst to conduct background inquiries and initial investigations.
- The Investigations Analyst will aid with thorough investigations into these matters to conclusion and produce investigation reports when required.
- Identify potential organised crime links and report these to the Head of Investigations.
- Identify incidents required to be reported to police and in doing so conduct simultaneous enquiries to ensure the Crown brand is protected.
- Take comprehensive statements as required and requested by the Head of Investigations.
- Assist with the end-to-end employee probity process under the relevant Internal Control Manual (ICM) including pre-employment screening as well as ongoing Casino Special Employee License holder checks.
- Liaison point for key law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures in relation to Responsible Service of Gaming (including training), and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Demonstrated experience in assisting with and/or conducting investigations, either within the integrated resort industry, law enforcement, military or other relevant fields essential.
- Demonstrated research and analysis skills, problem solving and decision-making skills alongside strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to think critically, laterally and with an enquiring mind.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize analyses and to develop findings and recommendations that are supported by strong research.
- Ability to structure and write investigative reports and other documents with appropriate supporting analyses that present clear and concise findings and recommendations.
- A degree in relevant would-be advantagous (e.g., Intelligence qualification or relevant analytical training).
