**The role**:
This position is part of an office-based team responsible for remotely commissioning and maintaining Yurika metering in the National Electricity Market (NEM), also multi-utility and private sub-metering, using Energy Queensland and contracted field staff across Australia. This includes new LV and HV metering installations, complex metering systems, private sub metering systems, and value-added services for domestic, commercial, and industrial customers.

The role is part of our technical call centre support team located at Newstead and provides assistance, coaching and technical support over the phone to customers, personnel of Yurika and service providers.

You are a trade qualified Electrical Fitter Mechanic and have (or are currently studying) a Diploma of Electrical Engineering. Additionally, to be successful in this role you will have:

- Knowledge and ability in the installation, testing and fault diagnosis of high voltage metering systems (including data transfer systems and billing systems);
- Knowledge of electricity tariffs as applied within Australia, and of the National Electricity Market;
- C class driver’s licence.
