**JOB TITLE** Program Co-ordinator

**Purpose of role **To actively live the purpose of the organisation to deliver Outdoor education experiences to young Australians. This role is at the forefront of enabling students to learn and to realise their potential. From the pre-program planning and coordination stages you will take primary responsibility to ensure program delivery meets Optimum Experiences and client expectations delivering experiences, communicating with a wide range of key stakeholders, this role holds challenge engagement, excitement, and growth.

As the Program Coordinator you will oversee the delivery of programs and client relationships for schools to ensure our staff and customers are engaged with the
Optimum Experiences and the impact we make.

Leading a team on their journey with Optimum Experiences, supporting and enabling their development and further contributing to the quality of our programs and the broader impact of development on our industry.

Qualifications & Experience
- Cert 4 in Outdoor Leadership or Equivalent
- Current Wilderness/remote First Aid _and CPR _
- Current NSW Working with Children’s Check
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering outdoor education or experiential education. Delivering corporate leadership programs and Directing Leadership Programs.
- Experience leading a team of people.
- Experience creating programs tailored to client needs.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly and efficiently
- Proven skills building strong and collaborative relationships
- A passion for outdoor education and the benefit it brings to young Australians
- Flexible, adaptable, and creative, able to problem solve and think constructively with a solution focussed mindset
- Experienced and effective at communicating across teams and departments in a manner that supports effective feedback and reporting

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

- To help ensure the smooth and successful running of all programs.
- Deliver the specified educational outcomes and create opportunities for transferable learnings for participants on client programs.
- Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all clients.
- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the school staff members and other support staff (internal and external) while on programs.
- Be flexible and adaptable in program delivery, responding to situations as they arise in line with company policy and client expectations.
- Take reasonable care for own health and safety and the health and safety of other people who may be affected by your conduct.
- Participate in meetings, training and other health, safety and environmental activities, as required.
- Adhere to Optimum Experiences dress code.

**Program Co-ordinator**
- Liaise with client schools to ensure on-ground delivery consistently meets expected delivery agreements
- Implement real time changes (within program design framework and budget) required to meet program outcomes
- Work with the client and as part of a delivery team to provide excellent program delivery through rigorous planning
- Provide inspirational leadership to the team to inspire them to deliver exceptional program delivery.
- Aid in the development of risk assessments for programs.
- Develop corporate leadership programs, and deliver them to clients
- Establish exceptional client relationships with all client schools.
- Work with key stakeholders in each school to ensure successful delivery of programs.
- Manage client booking portals, incident reports and any other program specific details.
- Mange and run training on all online systems. (Venuelife)
- Manage the booking of external equipment. (busses, wetsuits etc..)
- Manage the contact, booking and relationship of external contractors when required.
- Manage, respond and resolve issues with clients in order to maintain, develop and nurture excellent relationships.
- Ensure programs are delivered within expenditure budget for each program.
- Manage the team staff members.
- Organise and Run staff training and development programs.
- Ensure staff hours are to budget and that all timesheets are completed fully and timely.
- Oversee the roster for staff to ensure that they receive proper rest and time for recuperation, in line with the budget and budgeted hours.
- Ensure the programs for each school are compliant with Optimum Experiences policies and procedures.
- Ensure programs are managed to meet the needs of the clients within the confines of the staff capabilities and the budget.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programs.
- Proactively lead and drive your own development with your direct manager.
- Work closely with Staffing Co-ordinator to ensure staffing needs are met including staff wellbeing, training, rostering.
