ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) on the 6th Floor at our Fitzroy Campus.

We have an exciting part-time opportunity to cover a maternity leave for an Associate Nurse Manager on the 6th floor at our Fitzroy Campus.

The 6th floor is a 45 bed acute surgical ward specialising in Orthopaedic, Plastics, Vascular & Thoracic Surgery. ABOUT YOU:

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous leadership in this area, as well as the maintenance of clinical experience and quality care to meet best patient outcomes whilst ensuring that the philosophy and values of St Vincent's Private Hospital are inherent in the delivery of health care services.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Works closely with NUM to provide direction, support and advice to nursing & support personnel on a shift-by-shift basis
• Constructively supports the leadership of the NUM and assumes the responsibilities of the NUM in the absence of the NUM
• Demonstrates ability and commitment to support organisational development as directed by the NUM
• Facilitates effective working relationships with staff, customers, patients and VMPs
• Liaise with the Clinical Co-ordinator and NUM to manage patient workload and staffing requirements on a shift-by-shift basis
• Participates & actively supports the achievement of the Unit and Organisational KPIs, Mission, Vision & Values.
