**The Opportunity**

We currently are recruiting for a Production Manager (full-time permanent basis) for the afternoon shift (1pm - 9pm Monday to Friday with some weekend work) to support the Operations Manager to achieve key objectives at our Mount Kuring-gai site.

This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all relevant industry standards, legislations and licence requirements in addition to driving and implementing continuous improvement strategies to help deliver on key business objectives. Weekend and afterhours flexibility will be needed from time to time to support production as required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Management of production schedules to meet customer demands
- Staff management including development and coaching
- Ensuring the departmental KPIs are meet/or exceeded
- Writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures as per industry regulations
- Plan, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Work in conjunction with the Site Operations Manager to implement key business projects
- Ensure all non-conformances are investigated and appropriate preventative measures are implemented
- Ensure all WHS requirements are performed as per current legislations

**About You**
This role would suit someone who has:

- Previous experience in a cleanroom environment
- Strong understanding of GMP
- Experience in change management and Risk assessments
- Experience in developing, coaching and managing others
- Experience in managing/supervising a team
- History working in a Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing environment

You must also present with:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Highly organised
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
