The Clinical Educator role is integral in leading the development of a workforce capacity building initiative for Uniting’s LikeMind clinical services. The role will implement an integrated student placement program that delivers a wholesome experience for our future workforce exposing students to the range of clinical services we deliver.
- **Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker or RN or OT- 1 day /week**:

- **$52 + super per hour (depending on experience)**

LikeMind program's purpose is to provide wrap-around services to consumers with a variety of mental health, physical health and psycho-social needs. It will bring together existing community health services in an accessible, centralised and engaging community space. The four pillars of the service are - mental health, drug and alcohol, primary care, and vocational/ employment services.

**Role Overview**:
As a Clinical Educator, your role specifically will lead the implementation of a workforce capacity building program for LikeMind Seven HIlls and Penrith delivering the following activities among others:

- Establish a working group with key internal stakeholders to contribute to the program design, implementation, and evaluation
- Liaise with eligible universities, training bodies, peak bodies/professional bodies and headspace National to create student learning pathways to LikeMind services, catering to the individual requirements of each profession
- Develop a field supervision structure that enables exposure to multidisciplinary teams, acuity, therapy types, administrative responsibilities and processes for client transitions such as step-up and step-down.
- Develop a training program and resources to support clinical service staff to provide field supervision, task supervision, mentorship, and support students during placements

**Essential Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as Psychology, Social Work Registered Nursing or Occupational Therapy).
- Full registration with a respective professional body (such as AHPRA), or eligibility for membership with AASW.
- Current Australian Driver’s License.
- Evidence of qualification or relevant experience in Clinical Supervision, mental health specific
- Significant demonstrated experience within the mental health sector providing high quality triage, assessment and evidence based psychological interventions where required.
- Experience in developing training programs to cater to mental health professionals, ideally for a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in onboarding and induction to new staff and/or students or interns
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development of yourself and others and experience in contributing to workplace education through clinical supervision, training and education through the provision of seminars, lectures or in-services.
