Salary: HPA Level 3 (commensurate with experience) + super + generous salary packaging benefits up to $18,550

Formally commencing in September 2025, LikeMind has transitioned to an amended service delivery model consisting of a closer partnership with NBMLHD and WSLHD. LikeMind in Western Sydney may only accept referrals from NBMLHD or WSLHD.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Clinician, you will:

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, including mental state examinations, risk assessments, case formulations, and initial treatment planning.
• Review the comprehensive mental health assessment, including mental state examination, risk assessment, case formulation, and initial treatment planning for clients referred to access focused psychological supports. The assessment report will inform the range of clinical interventions that would be considered.
• Offer mentorship, clinical supervision and consultation to L2 or L1 clinicians within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work collaboratively with consumers, their families/significant others, and service systems to deliver recovery-oriented support.
• Participate in triage/intake of referrals, assessing presenting concerns, identifying risks, reviewing supports, and negotiating appropriate care plans.

The role is central to improving outcomes in mental and physical health while promoting opportunities for education and employment.

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications:

• Approved tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
• Provisional or full registration with AHPRA or an appropriate professional body.

Experience:

• Post-qualifying, minimum of full time 3 years' clinical experience in a mental health field preferably working with adult consumers.
• Proven experience in providing primary mental health interventions, assessments, evidence-based treatment and case management.
• Substantial experience in acute mental health, including bio-psycho-social assessments, crisis intervention and short-term psychosocial treatment.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership including supervision, staff orientation and mentoring; education, training, and provision of support to students on field placements.
• Contribution to multidisciplinary recovery-focused care planning and clinical case review presentations as required.
• Experience in service representation at relevant interservice clinical discussions or meetings.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
