**CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a Specialist Lead for our Counselling program.**

**About the role**

This role involves providing leadership to a team of Counsellors across our locations at Tuggerah, Waitara, Artarmon, and Brookvale and ensuring high-quality, person-centered counselling services.

This role contributes to the strategic direction of this team and is a part-time (four days per week) permanent position.

**Duties**
- Inspire and lead a team of counsellors.
- Providing clinical oversight of the program to ensure safe, best practice.
- Encouraging innovative service delivery across the program, demonstrating flexibility, for example: utilising and embracing technology.
- Exceeding program requirements, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Support the Practice Manager in seeking additional growth opportunities for the program, including additional Fee for Service.
- Provision of counselling services to a small caseload of our clients.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications (Graduate diploma and above) in Counselling, Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, or professionally related disciplines.
- Relevant registrations with peak bodies.
- Experience providing counselling services, with an understanding of therapeutic frameworks.
- Ability to support a team and ensure high quality, safe practice.
- Postgraduate studies in areas of counselling or relevant disciplines such as art therapy, child trauma therapy, play therapy, client counselling, music therapy and domestic violence training will be well regarded.
- NSW Driver’s License and access to insured vehicle.
- A Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.
