If so, CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Lead in our Counselling program.

**About the Role**

As the Specialist Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction to our team of Counsellors across multiple locations, including Tuggerah, Waitara, Artarmon, and Brookvale. Your main focus will be ensuring high-quality, person-centred counselling services that exceed program requirements. This is a part-time permanent position (4 days per week) that offers attractive salary packaging options and the opportunity to work under a hybrid, flexible working arrangement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Inspire and lead a team of dedicated Counsellors, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure safe, best practice counselling services are delivered.
- Encourage innovative service delivery, embracing technology and exploring new approaches to enhance client outcomes.
- Drive exceptional service delivery, exceeding program requirements and consistently striving for excellence.
- Support the Practice Manager in identifying growth opportunities for the program, including additional Fee for Service initiatives.
- Engage in direct counselling services, managing a small caseload of clients.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related disciplines.
- Relevant registrations with peak bodies.
- Proven experience in providing counselling services, with a solid understanding of therapeutic frameworks.
- Ability to support and lead a team, ensuring high-quality, safe practice.
- Postgraduate studies in areas of counselling or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
- NSW Driver's License and access to an insured vehicle.
- Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.
