**The Role**
There is a Deputy Director Service Management position available within the ERP Support Organisation (ESO) which supports the Defence Digital Group (DDG) to deliver ERP services to the Defence community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing the ESO Service Strategy.
- Delivering end to end services to the business.
- Developing and maintaining ESO Service Design by ensuring all elements of ESO services are documented including service definitions, inputs and outputs.
- Developing and maintaining the ESO Service Catalogue and RASCI.
- Managing improvements to IT Service Management processes and services by continually measuring the performance of the services, and bring innovation to design improvements to processes, services and infrastructure in order to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
- Managing and contributing to the Enterprise Reference Architecture and Application Lifecycle Management.
- Managing a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
- Building and sustaining relationships with a range of stakeholders including other teams, peers and colleagues across Defence.
**About our Team**
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a key enabler of the One Defence reform agenda. ERP will standardise and integrate critical functions needed to run the Department into a single SAP platform resulting in a major capability uplift for Defence. The Program will simplify and align processes and technology and implement a whole of Defence transformation across Groups and Services.

- Proven experience in IT Service Management and IT Audit (Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies).
- Knowledge of Defence specific Compliance Frameworks.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse data from a variety of sources.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to set expectations and direct the work of others.
- Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and manage priorities.
