This is a unique opportunity to join our dedicated Education & Youth Engagement Team and support young people to develop an understanding of social justice issues within their community. Not only do our Education and Youth Programs provide important guidance and educational support, they also foster a sense of community, fun and belonging. Our programs are student-centred and strength-based while using trauma-informed practice and growth mindset as frameworks.

**The Role**:
Are you passionate about fostering youth engagement, promoting social justice, and delivering impactful education programs? St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria (SPDPV) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Team Leader - Youth Engagement and Education Programs to join our Membership and Special Works team. This vital role contributes to the strategic growth, and overseas administration, and delivery of youth-led initiatives and education programs that align with SPDPV's mission and values.

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth engagement initiatives and education programs. You will ensure the effective coordination of resources, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee compliance with organisational policies and procedures. Your leadership will foster a positive team culture that reflects the values of SPDPV while driving program success.

**More specifically you will have**:

- A tertiary qualification in education, youth work, community development, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership experience, including motivating teams and fostering collaboration.
- Strong project management, time management, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of school systems and experience in educational program development.
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety and best practices in child-safe environments.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Lead, manage, and inspire the team to deliver youth engagement and education programs effectively.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and evaluation of initiatives and events.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including schools, volunteers, and community groups.
- Manage budgets, compliance, and reporting to ensure programs align with strategic objectives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants and team members.
