**Your Role**

CSL are hiring a Utilities Mechanical Fitter within the Maintenance Services Mechanical & Refrigeration Team. In this role you’ll provide essential engineering and maintenance support services at our world class manufacturing facilities at CSL Behring, Broadmeadows. **Day Shift role (07:00-15:40).**

You’ll conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on process, plant and equipment. This includes providing support to manufacturing facilities for fractionation of human plasma into pharmaceutical products.

**Your Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer - Utilities your role will include:

- Working on a wide range of pumps, including overhauling, and maintaining centrifugal, diaphragm pumps, mag-drive pumps
- Working inside tanks following confined space entry procedures to conduct inspections
- Working on vessel agitators, heat exchangers and a wide range of valves
- Working on steam and condensate systems, including demonstrated experience working on pressure reducing valves and steam traps
- Conduct welding maintenance repairs and fabrication work to address process or equipment related issues
- Supporting manufacturing on a shift roster. Flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs, including availability outside normal work hours /Facility shutdown to support major maintenance activities

**Your Experience**
- Qualification**:Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & Turner.**:

- Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of plant and process equipment listed above
- Expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective action
- Demonstrated proficiency in TIG stainless steel welding.
- You are highly motivated and enjoy utilising your initiative to solve complex mechanical related problems in the process and plant environment
- Strong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards
