As part of our team, you will apply your skills and knowledge in one of our division workshops, preparing and assembling specialised processing equipment for applications across food, dairy, wine, and a wide range of other industrial sectors.
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our tight-knit Production team. In this role, you will contribute to a streamlined workflow, managing tasks from receiving parts and assembly through to final packing and dispatch.
Your key tasks would include:
- Perform mechanical assembly, quality checks, and packing
- Inspect incoming goods against specifications and standards
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods
- Work with production to meet schedules and deadlines
- Accurately complete all required documentation and electronic records
Key Selection Criteria:
- Mechanical trade qualification with proven fitting/assembly experience
- Proficient in English and able to interpret engineering drawings/specs
- Strong attention to detail and quality focused
- Team-oriented, proactive, and positive
- Computer literate; willing to learn new systems
- Current forklift and manual driver's licence
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Skills in fabrication, welding, or machining will be highly regarded but are not essential.
