**About the role**

An exciting new 12 month contract opportunity to join our passionate Future Energy team, as the Hot Water Delivery Lead, is now available. Reporting to the Origin Loop Group Manager, you will lead the development and growth of Origin Loop's Hot Water Virtual Power Plant as a key enabler in our transition towards a renewables centred energy future. Focus will be to lead the end-to-end development of this capability covering product and customer experience, key partners, technology and operations. This role contributes to positioning Origin as the leading market player in this space.

**You will also**:

- **Mature the Hot Water business** from start-up phase into accelerated growth, creating a significant contribution to our business.
- **Design the Customer Value Proposition** - develop the proposition for consumers, including both the financial (value sharing) and non-financial benefits of being part of the hot water program.
- **Build and optimise the operational ecosystem that brings this to life through.**
- **Supporting commercial discussions, agreements & amendments**:

- **Building & maintain strong relationships with key partners.**:

- **Developing & run enabling technology for Hot Water**.
- **Designing, run & evolve the customer experience.**
- **Commercialisation**:

- Partner with internal stakeholders including Commercial and VPP Trading strategy and influence networks to ensure Hot Water portfolio meets our growth, monetisation goals and P&L outcomes.
- **Performance, Insight, Learnings** - establish rhythms to drive performance & achieve KPI's (MW, Customer Satisfaction, Growth), generate Insights and learnings.
- **Strategy & Growth** - Contribute to Strategic & Quarterly & OKR Planning. Identify new opportunities for growth.
- **Advocacy** - build awareness and advocacy for the Hot Water program internally and position Origin as an innovative thought leader in the future of energy externally.

**About You**

You will consider yourself a strong communicator, relationship builder and influencer. With a passion for solving problems and owning outcomes. Whilst recognising the importance of reaching consensus amongst stakeholders in a professional, fact-based manner. With an appetite to challenge the status quo in a way that energises and engages others.

You will also be able to demonstrate.
- 4 years+ experience in Product Ownership, Program Management, or Project Delivery
- Experience in managing products or programs from design to implementation and day to day operational management.
- Experience in designing operational service models to support products.
- Strong commercial skills & mindset, and track record of delivering strong customer & commercial results.
- Team player who is committed to building an enjoyable & rewarding workplace.

Desirable requirements
- Strong experience in commercial, operations, or technology roles.
- Experience in modern ways of working (lean, human centred design, agile)
