Simply Seated is an event hire company which stock a range of furniture, catering equipment, table linen and decor accessories.

**Successful applicants for the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehousing and Logistics team all will report to the Operations Manager who is based in Sydney.**

**Supervisor duties will include**:
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following duties:

- Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements.
- Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
- Organise, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
- Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements.
- Regularly communicate with the Sydney office in a timely manner, maintain reports and ensure good inventory management

**Warehouse team members duties will include**:

- unloading of goods from shipping containers
- picking and packing orders
- loading and unloading trucks
- Delivering jobs to site, from time to time
- filling and completing all the necessary delivery docket documentation
- physical labor work and control - carrying out stock-take as required
- previous experience in a similar warehouse position
- an excellent understanding of warehouse processes and procedures;
- able to work independently and unsupervised;
- high level of personal commitment and work focus;
- be punctual, reliable and able to work under pressure at times;
- have good literacy and numeracy skills;
- a desire to succeed and be part of an agile and pro-active team working in a fast-paced environment;
- physically capable of completing manual handling tasks on a continual basis; and
- a current forklift license is mandatory
- keeping the warehouse tidy and safe
- Proven experience working within a warehouse/similar role.
- High attention to detail.
- Dealing with Customs/AQIS is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent command of the English language, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to multi-task and follow instructions
- Motivated and hard working
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25kgs.
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Have a current police check (or willing to apply)
- Forklift certification, and/or Bendi experience if possible, and a valid driver's license required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $62,801.61 - $85,633.64 per year
