**Description**:
**The Role**:
Based in Mascot, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing operational safety leadership and safety advice. The role will primarily focuses on our mascot industrial site, supporting the fabrication workshop with manufacturing and product testing activities, and supporting construction and maintenance operations in the field.

**Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities**:
Providing support, coordination and advice of health and safety practices, systems and procedures including coaching and support to stakeholders across the business
Lead risk assessment processes for various activities, especially with regards to workshop safety around machinery, safety in design and construction safety; to ensure that risks are controlled and communicated appropriately
Maintaining and implementing the WHS policy, management plans, systems and procedures
Conducting regular site inspections, reviews and audits to schedule
Conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and deliver training sessions
Assist with engagement and communication with employees, subcontractors and other stakeholders
Assist in incident reporting and investigation.

Are you our next All-Star?

Cert IV in Work Health and Safety and a valid first aid certificate
Experience working within the construction and manufacturing industry for 2-5 years in a similar role.
ICAM Lead Investigator experience will be an advantage
Action orientated
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
