**Job Description**:
The role reports to the Senior Manager HSSEQ for G&D and has a dotted line into the designated Security Officer/s for the DISP accreditation. Support for the G&D safety management system and business continuity requirements will also be required at the direction of the Senior Manager HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure coordination of compliance to Company, DISP and SOCI security standards by scheduling and closely monitoring operations
- Oversee the implementation, monitoring and review of action plans to ensure that operational performance targets are met
- Manage and assist designated Security personnel and processes as required by the DISP and other agency requirements
- Ensure all staff are aware of company policy regarding serious misconduct and DISP related security matters
- Assist other manager’s in the identification and notification of shortcomings in security processes that could affect G&D operations
- Coordinate and maintain security audits as required for reporting purposes applicable to G&D
- Support compliance with legislative requirements in regard to DISP and other security regulations
- Liaise with external Government and Law enforcement agencies if and when required or directed by the Senior Manager HSSEQ, G&D Chief Security Officer or Primary Security Officer

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience in a regulatory/ high-risk industry
- Prior knowledge and understanding of the Aviation industry or regulated Transport industry would be an advantage
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
- Results and solutions driven with the desire to make a positive impact
- Able to present information to groups in an effective manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds and throughout all levels of the organisation
- Ability to use influencing techniques and assertiveness when required
