About the Role
As our Facilities Technician, you'll be the frontline technical expert ensuring our client's facilities run smoothly. We're looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our Integrated Facilities Management team in Sydney. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our client's daily operations while growing your technical expertise with a global leader in real estate services.

**Key Responsibilities: Technical Operations & Maintenance**:
Conduct daily inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment alongside the Site Engineering Manager
Perform minor repairs and replacements (light tubes, door locks, keyboard drawers)
Respond promptly to equipment alarms and help desk work orders
Organize and supervise maintenance vendors when needed
**Facilities Management**:
Monitor equipment rooms and facilities using predefined checklists
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
Update inventory of consumables and spare parts
Support minor renovation projects and office fit-outs
Attend site on weekends/after hours to supervise/escort vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance works (as required, typically at least one Saturday a month)
Responsible for the operations of M&E equipment to ensure compliance with HSE and statutory requirements.
Reparation and Renovation on spot
Raise work orders as necessary
Renovate daily inspection fault within skills base
Respond to users reported defects
Inform users about status of requests
**Client Service**:
Respond to user-reported defects promptly
Communicate repair status to facility users
Work closely with Building Management and Security teams
Attend site on weekends/after hours as required (typically one Saturday per month)
**What we are looking for**:
Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical, or related discipline
Valid electrical license (essential)
3+ years of experience in facility-related technical services
Basic handyman skills
Fundamental computer proficiency
Clear communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
