Exciting opportunity to join Forensic Intervention Services as the Programs Officer, Service Development, on an Ongoing basis.

About the Business Unit
Corrections Victoria is part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety and is responsible for the operation of Victoria's adult corrections system, public and privately operated prisons, and a transitional centre. It ensures that people held in prison are safely and securely contained and aims to rehabilitate people by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
As a division of Corrections Victoria, Forensic Intervention Services is a specialist program area within Offender Services that provides people who offend (our service users) in custody and in the community with evidence-based offence-specific screening, assessment, and interventions to support their rehabilitation. In doing so, Forensic Intervention Services is a critical component of the Department's strategy to reduce reoffending and contribute to community safety.
The Service Development Team is responsible for leading innovative service reforms via development and management of projects that drives continuous service delivery and practice improvements across the state and for public and private prisons. The team is also responsible for leading change management and stakeholder engagement strategies to support service reforms.
About the Role
The Programs Officer role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of ongoing service and quality improvements in clinical service delivery and working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, including clinical staff across the state.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Provide support and lead projects to support the effective and consistent delivery of clinical services across the State, including ongoing service and quality improvements.
- Prepare advice, briefing papers, reports, discussion papers and presentations under supervision, for senior staff and key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of service and quality improvements.

About you

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Comprehensive writing for government skills and experience (briefs, reports, presentations, correspondence)
- Knowledge and/or experience of project management frameworks, concepts and strategies
- Knowledge and/or experience in Stakeholder engagement and management
- Experience in providing specialist administrative and corporate support expertise

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
