THE ROLE

The Senior Program Officer will manage and coordinate key aspects of programs aimed at supporting people with complex needs and forensic disability clients. You'll develop programs, monitor their success, and making data drive adjustments. Your efforts will be instrumental in turning policy objectives into tangible programs that make a real difference.

The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Core to being successful will be your experience and knowledge in program design or implementation, your ability to understand new subject matter quickly, demonstrate appropriate initiative, produce high-quality project products, and write accurate, timely and audience-appropriate strategic documents.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues relating to people with complex needs and the forensic disability system, based on comprehensive research.
  • Manage specific program initiatives, ensuring they align with the overarching goals set by the Manager and meet the needs of people with complex needs and forensic disability clients.
  • Regularly track and evaluate program performance metrics, generate reports, and provide updates to the Manager to inform data drive decision making.
