Program Officer-Water job in Melbourne with a statutory authority.

A statutory authority responsible for protecting the environment. You’ll work with the water team based in Melbourne.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Manager, you’ll:
- Support a recreational water quality monitoring program across 25 inland water sites in Victoria
- Manage daily requests for scientific information and advice to support regulatory decision-making
- Provide data and information on requests for scientific information to identify trends, emerging issues and needs, and enable performance reporting on the provision of science services to the Senior Executive Committee
**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have tertiary qualifications in environmental sciences or a related discipline as well as:
- Experience in one or more of air, noise, odour, contaminated environments, waste, water, human health, or chemistry sciences.
- Experience in scientific data management
