About the Role
- To provide a range of clinical primary health care services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community in the context of drug and alcohol issues.
- Inclusive of delivery of specific health care programs, assessing and treating clients, maintaining health care systems, and providing advice and cultural support in order to contribute to better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Actively implement health promotion, referral, advice and information in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team in a manner that maximises cultural safety.
