**About the Role**
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to make a real impact in patient care? As an Administration Officer - Admitting and Booking, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient admission of patients to hospital. Your responsibilities will include maintaining elective waiting lists, regularly updating and auditing patient records, and ensuring all patients are informed of their admissions. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure that demographic information is up to date and that clinical staff are notified of any changes in a timely manner.

**About You**
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional administrative support. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- **Excellent communication & interpersonal skills** - Ability to liaise sensitively and effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams both in person and over the phone. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- **Adaptability & problem-solving abilities** - A proactive approach to handling challenges, using initiative and judgment to solve problems with mínimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- **Knowledge & commitment to best practices** - Understanding of Work Health & Safety policies, elective surgery waiting list procedures, medical terminology, and customer service principles to ensure efficient and compliant hospital admissions.
