**About the role**:
In Momentum (Suncorp’s delivery model), each Squad is a cross-functional autonomous team with end-to-end responsibility for a specific customer-focused outcome.

As a Scrum Master within the Digital Sales tribe, you will be a servant leader for 2 squads, helping to deliver outcomes in a fast, sustainable, and effective manner, by embedding ways of working and ensuring adherence to Momentum processes and governance. Digital Sales work on an array of projects, programs and optimisation initiatives to help enhance the online experience for our mass insurance brands.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, based in Sydney where you will be in the office 2 days per week. It is a unique opportunity for a talented Scrum Master to work for one of Australia’s leading insurers as we move to the Momentum delivery model.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work with Scrum Masters / Tribe Delivery Leads to sequence work and manage dependencies across Squads; manage flow, sequencing, slicing and velocity of work within the squads.
- Work with Product Owners to manage and prioritise work through the backlog, driving removal of impediments and ensuring work is tracked and progressing and that there is an appropriate balance across Squad members
- Monitor Squad performance and identifies opportunities for improvement, ensure the squad is compliant with appropriate governance and practices
- Perform Squad level reporting and manage RAID
- Communicate and embody the Momentum mindset
- Coach Squad to optimise delivery via Momentum processes and practices and develop relationships that assist the Squad in achieving its outcomes. Identify continuous improvement opportunities, training needs of Squad members, and implement best practices to progress the work of the Squad

**What you’ll bring**:

- Project Management qualification or accreditation (such as PMP, CAPM, Prince2, Agile)
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, groups or activities.
- Minimum of 2 years’ Scrum Master experience
- Demonstrated experience using scaled Agile in a large complex environment
- Previous experience within digital and/or UX is desirable
- Experience in the Insurance or Financial Service industry (desired).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement ranging from the executive level through to the squad.
- Rapidly develop trust and credibility with senior stakeholders including strong facilitation skills.
