**Key accountabilities of the role**:

- Produce a range of communications content and materials to provide quality, accurate and relevant information to stakeholders, including editing and post-production of video content.
- Re-purpose and re-format video content for all relevant external and internal channels including social media
- Translate audio, video, graphics and digital animation and other digital media content into various distributable formats
- Manage digital media data, monitor/maintain server storage and maintain software and hardware for digital media acquisition, player and editor servers.
- Create physical backups of stored content on servers and is responsible for keeping records of all content available for viewing, downloading and archiving.

**Key Challenges of the role**
- Coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with frequently adjusting priorities.
- Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of the EPA’s priorities and emerging issues to ensure development of communications that are effective in reaching target audiences.
- Providing video and multimedia advice and technical support across the EPA and support video conferencing services with the broader cluster.

**Inherent requirements of the role**:

- 3-4 years of experience in video editing and post production role
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and working knowledge of After Effects
- Basic colour grading and sound editing knowledge
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation software
- Strong creative and storytelling abilities, with an eye for detail and visual composition.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively within a team environment.

**Desirable skills**:

- Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Character Animator
- Willingness to go on shoots from time to time
